Apolline have recently updated their COVID-19 Risk-based Clinical Protocols as a result of a new variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that is 50-70% more transmissible than previous variants. The new variant is currently thought to be the dominant version of the virus, with its increase in infectivity causing rapidly escalating infections, hospital admissions and deaths in all parts of the UK.
The UK government has urged people to ‘behave as if they have COVID-19’ and it is in that light that these protocols have been revised.
At the time of writing, the devolved administrations of the UK all have national lockdowns in place, albeit with slightly varying requirements.

The minimum contract term for this service is six months.
